This particular butterfly, the blue morpho, has been the beautiful Messenger of Truth in the last few posts and is fascinating to me.

When it alights on a flower, what is visible is a beautiful design of browns and a little red–perfect camoflauge.

But when it opens its wings, it reveals that inside it is an extraordinary iridescent blue color.

It is one of the best reminders ever not to “judge a book by its cover,” and to delight in the discovery of the unexpected…
